Hi, I’m Sylvie — the heart behind Sifted.
I’m an accountant and coach with 20 years’ experience helping people and small businesses bring order to chaos—numbers, systems, planning, and the practical next steps that move life forward. My work blends financial clarity with emotional support, so you feel calm, capable, and in control.
Why “SIFTED”
I chose the name SIFTED because it takes me back to watching my mother baking when I was young. You can’t undo the ingredients once they’re in the bowl—but you can sift to remove the lumps, break up the knots, and refine the mix so something beautiful can rise.
Life challenges are the same. Divorce, separation, debt, overwhelm—none of it disappears overnight. But when we sift through your experiences with care, we soften what hurts, keep what serves you, and create space for something new: clarity, confidence, and a plan.
My story
I’ve lived the reality of big change. During my own divorce—while running a family business—I learned how closely our emotional lives and financial realities are tied. I know the feeling of the ground shifting under you, and I know how powerful it is to have structure, support, and a safe place to land.
To complement my practical background, I became a Certified ThetaHealing® Practitioner. This allows me to support not just your spreadsheets and strategy, but the beliefs and emotions that can keep you stuck. The combination is gentle, grounded, and effective.
